Sugar season is over. We had a great 6 weeks making an exceptional crop of maple syrup. We made more light (or fancy) syrup this year than we've ever made and the dark grade of syrup we made this year is some of the best tasting syrup that we've tasted in a long time. Delicious!!
May 1st:
The daffodils are in bloom and the tulips are trying to bloom. It snowed yesterday so that slowed down some things. We are getting things ready for our daughter's wedding which is happening this month on our farm. We are hoping the lilacs and tulips will be blooming for them.
